WPC has recently broken ground at 1150 Ripley Street in Silver Spring, Maryland to make way for 286 luxury apartments and 7,200 sf. of retail built on 17 stories, including four stories of underground parking. 1150 Ripley will offer its residents amenities such as a resort-style swimming pool, a cyber café, billiards lounge, movie lounge and a rooftop terrace. Located just 700 feet from the Silver Spring Station, 1150 Ripley brings with it a vital pedestrian and vehicular connection from the Ripley District to the Metro as well as a LEED certification to address the market’s growing need for sustainability and growth. It is the first major construction project within the Ripley District in almost 20 years.
