Monte Carlo Night

Monte Carlo Night, Inc. was established as an annual event to raise awareness within the commercial real estate community and to provide financial support for Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

The proceeds from Monte Carlo Night have created the OR Advanced Technology Fund to modernize the aging surgical facilities at Children’s Hospital and to further their mission of delivering world-class care to sick children in this area regardless of their ability to pay for it.

The OR Advanced Technology Fund will equip new operating suites with state-of-the-art technology such as telepresence, advance imaging and surgical simulation technologies as well as data management. When the surgical center is complete, the real estate community will be responsible for equipping 11 new operating suites and making a big difference in the lives of children needing healthcare!

Monte Carlo Night, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization and 100% of sponsorships go to Children’s Hospital — Washington, D.C.

The New Community for Children

www.ncfc-dc.org

New Community for Children (NCFC) was founded in 1988. New Community for Children empowers children through educational, cultural, and spiritual enrichment. Toward that end, NCFC works with parents, teachers, the community, and other social service organization in Washington DC to address the comprehensive education needs of children. We prepare students to become responsible and productive adults who, in turn, will give their time and talents back to their communities.

The New Community Foundation was formed by WPC’s Charles Nulsen together with fellow real estate developers Andy Brown and Pete Jervey and Jim and Grace Dickerson, Founder and Board Member of New Community’s After School & Advocacy Program (ASAP). Following many years of involvement with ASAP, they witnessed the need to provide gap scholarship money to fulfill the dreams of a higher education for New Community students. The Foundation was created to fill that need.

The Armed Forces Foundation

www.armedforcesfoundation.org

The Armed Forces Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to proving solace to members of the Armed Forces community during their time of greatest need through its valuable programs.

On December 16, 2009, the staff at Washington Property Company teamed up with the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF) to sponsor a holiday dinner for the patients, their families and the hospital staff at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda.

It was a rewarding experience for everyone and we look forward to future contributions. Find out more about the event here.
