Eric Rogers
General Counsel
Mr. Rogers manages our legal needs as they relate to the purchase, sale, and management of real estate. His purview includes commercial leasing, purchase and sale contracts, title and survey work, environmental and other third-party reports, as well as financing new and refinancing existing properties. He is also the primary point of contact with outside counsel regarding commercial and residential evictions, litigation, and administrative matters.
Prior to joining WPC, Mr. Rogers was Assistant General Counsel at RLJ Lodging Trust, a publicly-traded lodging REIT where he worked on acquisitions, dispositions, operations, and litigation. Prior to that, he managed both corporate and operational matters for First Potomac Realty Trust, a former publicly-traded REIT that owned and operated office and industrial properties.
Mr. Rogers received his B.S. from the University of Florida and his law degree from New York Law School. He resides in Potomac with his wife and two sons.
